Claire impersonates a lady in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 93

As Claire tries to find a way to escape, she ends up being gifted an opportunity in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 93.

Up to this point, Claire has found that luck is somewhat on her side. Sure, she’s going to face trial for murder, but right now, she’s not stuck in a jail cell. Once again, her skills as a doctor have led to her being sought after, even if there is gossip that she’s a murderer.

That doesn’t stop her looking for a way to escape. She knows that she’s in New Bern, and she’s terrified about what’s happened to Jamie after Richard Brown’s men took him away. She just wants to get to him not realizing that Young Ian is already there.

This chapter gives her a chance. She needs to impersonate a lady, and not just to escape. This is a task expected of her.

The chapter hasn’t been used in the series yet, but we may see it play out in Outlander Season 7. I’ll get o my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
