Outlander Book Club: A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 91 breakdown

We find out where Jamie is being taken in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 91

It was only a matter of time before we’d find out where Jamie was taken. That comes up in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 91. He’s not staying away from Claire for too long, though.

The chapter finds Jamie in a tight spot. Literally. However, he’s not panicking all that much. He knows that Ian is out there somewhere. Ian will have seen what happened and will come after him.

We get to find out who Richard Brown is working with in this chapter. It shouldn’t end up coming as a surprise. What it does do is set the plot for characters to come back before A Breath of Snow and Ashes is over. That’s what makes this chapter in the book so important. It’s not really foreshadowing, but I’ll touch on it in the foreshadowing section of this post.

While it was used partly for the series, it wasn’t in full. The TV show had to adapt a few things due to the handling of a couple of characters in Outlander Season 5. I didn’t mind the change. In fact, I really enjoyed it, and I’ll get to why that was in the adaptation section.
