Suspect begins at the weekend in the UK. It’s going to be great for getting through Droughtlander, but how many weeks will it take up? How many episodes are in the series starring Sam Heughan?
If you’re in the UK, you’ll be happy to hear that there’s a new show coming that is sure to fill up some of Droughtlander. Suspect premieres on Sunday, June 19.
Sam Heughan stars as Ryan, the former partner of the lead character, Danny Frater, played by James Nesbitt. Danny heads to a hospital morgue to identify a body and learns that it’s his estranged daughter. When he learns that she took her own life, he refuses to believe it and spends time retracing her last few days to figure out what really happened.
Just as a quick side note: it’s not clear when or if this series will head to the U.S. We’ll be keeping an eye on it.
Back to the UK, though. How many weeks of Droughtlander will the series get you through? You’ll need to know the episode count of the series.
Suspect episode count
There are eight episodes in Suspect. That does suggest that the show will take up eight weeks.
The show airs on Channel 4. This isn’t a network known for taking a week off between shows, so we’re not expecting it to happen here. With that in mind, we’re looking at the Suspect finale to air on Sunday, Aug. 7.
It’s not a lot of Droughtlander, but it’s a little bit. The show will be on Channel 4’s streaming platform, giving you the chance to relive the episodes. With the complexity of this gritty drama, you’ll want to rewatch the episodes to see which clues you missed the first time.
Suspect premieres on Sunday, June 19 at 9:30 p.m. on Channel 4 in the UK.
