Are you ready to jump back into the world of alternate history? Ron D. Moore’s For All Mankind Season 3 premieres tonight.
At first glance, For All Mankind doesn’t seem like something for Outlander fans to watch. However, it is created by Ron D. Moore, who brought us Outlander in the first place. Maril Davis is also one of the EPs on the series, and we love to support those involved in our favorite series on their other projects.
On top of that, we have a series that’s set in the 20th century. The first season started in 1969, with the Soviets getting to the moon first. The Apollo missions are mentioned in Outlander by Claire, Roger, and Brianna, so they do connect to the show. The difference is For All Mankind brings us a “what if” storyline.
We get a chance to see the Americans focus on getting the first women on the moon. And now the story has advanced further.
For All Mankind Season 3 premiere release time on Apple TV+
The first episode of the season arrives on Apple TV+ tonight. Unlike STARZ, we can’t watch at midnight. Instead, the episodes drop at 3 a.m. ET. This ensures a Friday release time for those on the west coast. It is annoying, but it’s the way the majority of streaming services work.
The first episode kicks off the new mission. It’s all about Mars. The title of the episode is “Polaris,” and it’s got nothing to do with The 100. Nor does it have anything to do with the SpaceX Polaris program. The name is that of the hotel that’s revolving in space for tourists to head to.
The season itself is a chance to head to Mars. The focus is on building sustainable life to get people away from Earth if they want.
Previous seasons have focused on real-life events. For All Mankind Season 3 is purely fiction, and we can’t wait to see what’s to come.
For All Mankind Season 3 premieres tonight and airs Fridays on Apple TV+.
