18. Lizzie and the Beardsley twins flirting

I loved seeing all the moments of Lizzie and the twins flirting. Nothing was even going on between them at first, but it’s clear by the end that they are up to something. And it’s the funniest storyline of the entire season.

Lizzie and the twins are in love with each other. Yes, the three of them want to be together. Josiah and Kezzie are more than happy to share Lizzie.

All of this is hinted at throughout the season when it comes to the way Lizzie flirts with both boys.

17. The unusual funeral

Something usually goes wrong at a funeral in a TV show. We’re used to it. What we’re not used to is what happened in Outlander Season 6 (a storyline straight from the book).

Mrs. Wilson wakes up from the dead. It’s a shock to everyone, but Claire realizes that this is a temporary state. Roger informs her that she will still die today. By the end of the scene she does die.

That’s not before the Sin Eater walks in, and there’s a huge thing between Mrs. Wilson and Hiram Crombie over money. We needed some lightness during the season, and this scene certainly delivered.

16. Lord John Grey helping Jamie one more time

Jamie eventually tells Lord John Grey that he is switching sides. It’s something John isn’t happy about. He just can’t understand why people are fighting for freedom. Of course, at this point, he just sees that it’s over some taxes on tea.

Jamie is only on this side because he knows the future. John knows better than to try to persuade Jamie against the fight. Instead, he just offers to protect him one more time. He’ll delay sending in the troops when he finds out where the meeting is.

It could be the end of the friendship. Of course, John will never stop loving Jamie, and Jamie will never stop seeing John as a good friend.
