Will there be any Outlander Untold stories on the Season 6 DVD and Blu-ray?
The Outlander Season 6 DVD and Blu-ray release date has been confirmed. What type of bonus features will we get? Will there be any Outlander Untold stories?
The Outlander Untold stories have been something to look forward to since the fourth season. The creators decided it was time to bring us something extra. These scenes are written and filmed specifically as bonus features, rather than being deleted scenes that are then turned into something else.
In previous seasons, we’ve seen these Untold stories focus on some of the side characters to allow more time for them to develop. These have included Lizzie, the Beardsley twins, Marsali, and Young Ian. They are bonuses that we look forward to every season now.
Outlander Untold stories included in the Season 6 boxsets
There is some great news. There will be some Outlander Untold stories coming to the Season 6 DVD and Blu-ray boxsets.
We’ll get two stories. This is half of what we’re used to, but there were some difficulties with filming this season. We can let everyone off, right?
The details of who the Outlander Untold stories will be about haven’t been released. They aren’t usually for the main characters, which means we can likely rule out Jamie, Claire, Brianna, and Roger. They’re usually a chance to learn more about the other characters.
We could see something for Marsali and Fergus. We know the two of them had a darker season. While Fergus finally got some great screentime, we’d love to see more of him. Maybe we could see Fergus and Marsali arrive in New Bern together.
Lizzie and the Beardsley twins could also be included. Or maybe we’ll see something of Jocasta and Duncan considering there was a mention of gold, which indicates a certain French gold storyline could happen after all. And with that in mind, maybe one of the stories could involve the Bugs.
