Derry Girls Season 3 is not coming to Netflix in June 2022

Now that we know Jessica Reynolds is in Derry Girls Season 3, there’s nothing more we want to get us through Droughtlander. That’s not happening yet.

Shortly after the Outlander Season 6 finale, we found out there was another series to watch to see Jessica Reynolds. Malva Christie is unrecognizable in Derry Girls. Reynolds is only in one episode, but it’s enough to have us interested.

And then we get to find out more about the series. It’s set in the 1990s in Northern Ireland. The IRA is viewed as a threat, the British military has put up checkpoints all over, and a group of teenage girls and a boy just want to enjoy their lives.

So, you’ll want to see the third season to get through Droughtlander. There is some downside, though. The series isn’t heading to Netflix in the U.S. in June 2022. We’ve double-checked the list of releases just in case.

When could Derry Girls Season 3 come to Netflix in the U.S.?

How long will we need to wait for the season? After all, the series finale has now aired in the UK. Will it take long for the episodes to drop on the streamer?

There isn’t a clear release date just yet. Netflix is staying rather quiet about when we’ll get to see the final season of the series. The good news is for those who haven’t seen the first two seasons yet, they are available to stream on Netflix. It is a quick binge-watch, but it’s worth your time. And you’ll likely find that it becomes a show to rewatch.

There has been an interesting cameo in Derry Girls Season 3. Liam Neeson guest-starred in an episode, and it certainly got people talking. Now we hope more than ever to see the season arrive in 2022.
