The Nevers Season 1B is not coming to HBO in June 2022
If there’s one thing we need, it’s shows to help us get through Droughtlander. The Nevers is one of those shows, but we’re still waiting for it to return.
We could certainly do with more content to get us through Droughtlander. The Nevers was a great option in 2021. It stars Laura Donnelly, who Outlander fans best know as Jenny Fraser Murray. However, the first part of the season was just six episodes long, and it’s been a long wait for the next set of episodes.
Checking through the list of HBO releases in June 2022, one thing is clear. The Nevers Season 1B isn’t going to arrive. That’s not too surprising, but it is disappointing. What do we have to get us through this part of Droughtlander?
When does The Nevers Season 1B release on HBO?
It’s not quite clear when the next six episodes will head to HBO. The streamer has been extremely quiet about it. Even the social platforms have quieteneed down a little.
The last we heard, the show had finished production. That means it’s in post-production, which can take months to complete. A series like The Nevers with its graphic elements added in can take eight months to create.
On top of that, HBO will want to space out its content in the way that STARZ does. Right now, The Time Traveler’s Wife is airing weekly on HBO. After that, House of the Dragon will air weekly. It’s going to be a while to get around to The Nevers, but it could arrive after the Game of Thrones series has arrived. This would still mean a 2022 release.
