Men in Kilts Season 2 is not coming to STARZ in June 2022
We would love nothing more than to have Men in Kilts Season 2 to help us get through Droughtlander. That’s not happening right away.
If there’s one thing we would love to see, it’s Men in Kilts to get us through Droughtlander. We double-checked the list of STARZ releases in June, but we have bad news. The second season of the Sam Heughan-Graham McTavish road trip series is not arriving next month.
Of course, we’re not surprised by that. We would love a miracle, but there’s no way STARZ would just quietly drop this series on the list of June releases. We’ve had know the release date sometime this month, especially with Outlander Season 6 coming to an end.
When will Men in Kilts Season 2 premiere on STARZ?
How long will we need to wait? That part isn’t clear, but we are hoping for the season to arrive sometime in 2022.
The season has already filmed. That happened quickly in January 2022, with Sam and Graham heading to New Zealand to do the work. The series is now in post-production, which is where it’s been for a while.
Sure, a show like this doesn’t require as many graphics as a series like Outlander or even The Nevers. However, there is a lot of work in post. The clips filmed during the road trip will need to be cut effectively for a series. That requires a lot of time and effort.
It’s hard to say just when we could expect the new series. Gaslit continues on STARZ for now. We’ll hopefully see Men in Kilts Season 2 before the fall.
