The No. 1 Jamie moment from Outlander Season 6
Jamie had some excellent moments in Outlander Season 6. There is one that stands out above all the others, and here’s a look inside that moment.
Jamie Fraser always seems to know the right things to say. That’s certainly the case when it comes to helping family members through difficult times. While he had some outstanding moments throughout Outlander Season 6, there is one in particular that stands out the most.
I’m sure there will be some people who would pick other moments. There will be some who would pick the moment toward the end of the season as Claire shared about her ether use, but that was more of a Claire and Jamie moment for me. This No. 1 moment is all about Jamie and his ability to help the people he loves.
Jamie talks about Faith in Outlander Season 6
The No. 1 moment is when Jamie opened up about his daughter Faith. This was in Outlander Season 6, Episode 4, titled “The Hour of the Wolf.” The episode itself is a chance for Young Ian to open up and share his story, but he needs advice from someone close to him.
Young Ian is struggling with what happened to his daughter. He never got to see her, and he knows that she wasn’t baptized. So, he’s not sure where she is.
Up to this point, Jamie had only listened to Young Ian. Previous moments weren’t the time for Jamie to share his own experiences, but this moment was. Ian’s fears of his daughter’s soul connect directly to the questions about Faith’s soul. Sure, Faith was baptized in the end, but she was stillborn. What Mother Hildegarde did was against the laws in France, and there will have been questions about Faith’s soul.
Jamie is able to connect with Ian in a way nobody else can. This isn’t the first time, and it connects back to the Outlander Season 4 premiere. Ian was dealing with the trauma of Geillis’s actions, and Jamie was able to share his own experiences to help him.
