Jamie takes guns to Bird in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 67

After acquiring the muskets, Jamie needs to deliver them to Bird in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 67. It’s met with positivity from Bird, and there are some jokes about someone who joins Jamie on the journey.

Crombie has decided to come along for the visit. This may be important considering the end of the chapter sees Jamie resign as Indian Agent. It’s clear that he’s getting ready to switch sides when the time comes.

There is certainly some humor in the chapter with how the Cherokee take in Crombie’s look. There is no need for Crombie’s wife to worry about what her husband will get up to when he’s away with the Cherokee. There won’t be any women visiting.

This chapter wasn’t fully used in the series. While Crombie was introduced, he wasn’t brought into this part of the story. I’ll get to my thoughts on how the show adapted this chapter in the adaptation section.

There is some foreshadowing, though. It’s only a small amount, but it’s enough to stand out.

Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 67.
