Will Malva Christie return in Outlander Season 7?
As we get into Droughtlander, we look at potential returning characters in Outlander Season 7. Is Malva one of those characters coming back?
The Christie family showed up on the Ridge during Outlander Season 6. At first, it looked like Tom was going to cause the most trouble. Then we found out that someone else in the family was a person to watch out for. It was all about Malva.
Not only was she getting up to no good with the men around the Ridge, she’s also lied about being with Jamie. This lie has destroyed Jamie and Claire’s reputation, but what’s to come from it. Will Malva’s secrets come out? Is there any way that’s possible considering the way things ended for Malva in Outlander Season 6?
Malva probably won’t return in Outlander Season 7
At this point, we can’t say a definite yes or no when it comes to Malva’s potential return in Outlander Season 7. All we know at this point is that it’s unlikely.
Malva died during the sixth season. She was killed by someone on the Ridge, and everyone is still trying to figure out who held the knife. However, Claire has been arrested for the murder, and now she’s in a fight for her freedom and life.
Death doesn’t mean characters can’t come back, though. We’ve seen characters, even in Outlander, return after death. Just look at how Tobias Menzies’s Frank has been able to return after death. We could see something similar happen with Malva.
Flashbacks are an option. We do need to find out who killed Malva, as well as finding out what she was up to with the Sin Eater’s fingers and other tissue. The show could tell us that, but it could also show us via flashbacks with Malva in there.
