Outlander Season 6 was not easy for the Fraser family. Jamie initially thought he would just have to deal with the coming Revolutionary War and the new tenants. However, everything went south as the new tenants caused their own problems.

The biggest issue was a certain Malva Christie. Her lies led to people turning away from Jamie, and in the end, he was almost shipped off to Scotland while the Browns handled Claire the way they wanted.

10. Deciding to become an Indian Agent

Jamie didn’t want to become an Indian Agent when the request was made. It’s not that he didn’t respect the Indians, but he didn’t want the added duty. In the end, he had no choice but to take up the request. It was either him or Richard Brown.

I love that it wasn’t just because it was Brown that Jamie took up the request. He knew what Brown would do and the trouble he would cause. In the end, becoming the Indian Agent helped to bring closure for a character and meant that Jamie was saved at the end of the season.
