Sure, we’re into another Droughtlander, but there is a little bit of good news. Those who only watch the series on Netflix can finally watch the fifth season. Outlander Season 5 came to Netflix U.S. at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT today.

All 12 episodes are now available to stream. Yes, it has been on Netflix in other locations for a while, but it takes two years from the finale date for the episodes to arrive in the United States. This has been one hell of a wait.

What is Outlander Season 5 about?

For those who haven’t watched it yet, the fifth season follows a lot of The Fiery Cross with some A Breath of Snow and Ashes thrown in. It’s a major season that focuses on Claire and Jamie attempting to grow their lives at Fraser’s Ridge. Sadly, there’s a war coming, and Jamie needs to go up against his godfather, Murtagh.

We get to see the Battle of Alamance play out in the season. That brings its own heartbreak and loss, that runs into the episodes afterward. And then there’s a traumatic story for Claire at the end of the season. No spoilers for those who haven’t seen it yet or read A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

When is Outlander Season 6 on Netflix U.S.?

Of course, now that we have the fifth season, eyes are on when the latest season will arrive on Netflix in the United States. There is going to be a long wait for that.

Remember that it takes two years from the season finale dates. The Outlander Season 6 finale aired on Sunday, May 1. We’re looking at May 1, 2024 as the release date for the full season on Netflix.
