Outlander Season 6 finale recap: Jamie and Claire go on the worst road trip ever
Jamie is almost sent to Scotland
We just wish the ending to the episode could be happy. As expected, the Outlander Season 6 finale ended with a cliffhanger. Considering when the decision was made to cut the season short, this isn’t all that surprising.
We find out where Jamie is. He’s tied to a pole in the ground on a beach. Is he going to be left for dead as the tide comes in? Fortunately not. Instead, his captors tell him that he’s being sent back to Scotland.
Other people have other plans, though. Suddenly, an arrow flies through the air and hits one of the men. Jamie and the others look around to see Young Ian on top of a cliff, and he is not alone. The Cherokee and John Quincy Myers have come with him to save Jamie. Bird makes it clear that he promised to stand by Jamie, and that’s what he is doing in this moment. Karma comes back three-fold.
The group take out almost all of Richard Brown’s men. All but one. Jamie wants to keep him alive since he knows where Claire is. The man is clearly happy about that, but his smile fades when Young Ian shares that he also knows where Claire is.
Oh dear. Brown’s man isn’t needed, so he’s killed. Jamie and the others ride off to get Claire. And that’s where we end the Outlander Season 6 finale!
