The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 is not coming to HBO in May 2022

We’d love nothing more to see Laura Donnelly back on our screens. That’s not happening just yet. The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 is coming in May 2022.

We’ve waited a year to see how the next part of The Nevers would go. The time-traveling fantasy series will have more episodes, but we still don’t know when they will happen.

With Outlander Season 6 coming to an end in May, there’s no doubt fans are looking for something to get through Droughtlander. The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 isn’t going to be one of those options. It’s nowhere on the list of May 2022 releases on HBO and HBO Max.

When will The Nevers Season 1, Part 2 come to HBO?

As mentioned we don’t have a release date just yet. HBO has been very quiet about the series, and that’s potentially due to the work still ongoing. We are expecting it sometime in the summer.

It’s worth noting that House of the Dragon (which will be something for Outlander fans to watch) will premiere on Aug. 21. There’s no way HBO will want to bring two big shows at the same time. There may be a small crossover, but not a big one.

This suggests that if the Victorian-period-set series is going to arrive in the summer, it needs to be in June or July. Otherwise, the streamer will likely want to hold the episodes until after House of the Dragon airs, and that means we’re waiting until late fall or early winter.

Filming is complete on the series. There should be enough time to get through all post-production in time for a late June or early July release date. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any updates.
