Outlander Book 10 Daily Lines: William and Bree interact
Outlander Book 10 will give us more time between William and Brianna. That’s certainly the case judging by the Easter Daily Lines.
One of the things I love about the Outlander Daily Lines is that we get a chance to see more of the quieter moments. There’s a chance to see how the relationships are developing between characters.
William and Brianna are related. We know that from the books, and now the two characters know it. It wasn’t easy for William to initially accept, but he’s grown into the idea that he is a Fraser. Not everyone in the world has to know, so it’s not like he has to lose his titles. That should certainly help.
Bree and William interact in the Outlander Book 10 Daily Lines
Diana Gabaldon shared a Daily Lines for Easter Sunday. It was a chance to delve into the relationship between William and Bree.
The two didn’t spend time together in the ninth book. Bree had come back from the future, but William was off dealing with other things. He only turned up at the very end of the book looking for help to save Lord John Grey. Of course, Jamie was going to jump at the chance to save a friend, even if they’re not quite friends anymore.
So, the Daily Lines aren’t surprising. It shouldn’t be much of a spoiler that William and Bree will interact. It’s just a small interaction as they talk about Bree’s newest baby, Davy. Take a look at the book snippet:
She tells him Davy’s full name, and William can’t help but notice the name William is in there. Is Davy named for William? Partly, Bree admits.
It’s an honor for William. This is a boy who didn’t take the truth about his parentage all that well. He clearly still wants to know more details about Geneva and the way he was created. That’s not something Jamie is willing to go into.
I hope we see more of these interactions between the two characters.
