Outlander Season 6, Episode 6 was an emotionally draining episode in a great way. Here’s a look inside the live ratings for the night.

If we thought Outlander was going to give us a week to compose ourselves after the previous five episodes of the season, we were always going to be wrong. This season has gone from strength to strength with some heavy topics and devastating moments.

Outlander Season 6, Episode 6 brought some emotionally draining moments. It all started with sickness spreading around the Ridge and ended with the death of one of our antagonists for the season. Just how did the live ratings fare?

It’s still worth keeping in mind that the live ratings don’t tell us anything when it comes to STARZ. They only take into account the number of people who watch live on the STARZ channel when the episodes air on Sunday nights.

The live ratings were mixed for the episode. The demo numbers saw a downward tick by 25%, dropping to 0.3. However, the total audience numbers ticked up.

According to TV Series Finale, the total audience numbers were up to 0.543 million viewers. That was almost a 10% upward tick from the previous episode.

The total audience numbers will be more important to STARZ than the demo numbers. The demo numbers are the 18-49-year-old audience that is used for advertisers as this is the advertisers’ main demographic. STARZ doesn’t use advertisers to make money for programming, so there’s no need to be too concerned.

For STARZ, the numbers are going to be in the subscription figures. We don’t get to see just how many people are watching via the STARZ App, but we can assume that it’s much higher than the live numbers watching on the channel.
