5 big takeaways from the Outlander Season 6, Episode 7 promo and synopsis
We have to wait an extra week, but Outlander Season 6, Episode 7 is on its way. Let’s take a look inside the promo and synopsis to see what to expect.
You’ve read that right. There is some bad news in that there won’t be a new episode of Outlander this week. The series is taking a break for Easter, and it will be back the following week.
That’s not one of the big takeaways, though. We already knew this break was coming with STARZ revealing its plans for Easter weekend. Despite the break, we do have a promo and synopsis for the upcoming episode.
Outlander Season 6, Episode 7 promo and synopsis
This is the penultimate episode of the season, and we’re expecting a lot of drama. Take a look at the promo and synopsis just now for the episode. After that, we’ll get straight into the breakdown.
"Claire struggles with her demons as a nefarious rumor begins to spread on the Ridge. Tensions rise as the residents fear there is a dangerous person in their midst."
Tom and Allan Christie blame Claire
One thing is clear, Tom and Allan Christie are angry at the situation and they’re placing blame on the person covered in blood. That’s only natural. We’ve seen plenty of crime dramas that make it look like the person who has found the body has been the killer, or they do become the first suspect.
Tom is going to be grieving. Allan…well, let’s not get into that just now. Allan is an enigma we’ve not come to know too well. Tom is the main concern if his anger takes over.
The rumors across the Ridge get worse
The Frasers are already dealing with rumors on the Ridge thanks to Malva’s accusations. They believe that Jamie was unfaithful and is now refusing to acknowledge the child. However, the rumors are about to get worse. Naturally, Allan is going to spout his mouth off and it could lead to extra trouble.
The Beardsleys may be involved
Something the Outlander Season 6, Episode 7 promo wants us to believe is that the Beardsley twins may be somewhat involved. Young Ian is looking for them, and Lizzie has a guilty look on her face. She doesn’t want to believe that they are involved in Malva’s murder in some way. Did they do it?
Claire is devastated at the turn of events
Malva and her baby will be buried together. We get a clip of that happening during the episode, and we may see Roger be there to say some words. That is if Tom can separate Roger as a minister and as Jamie and Claire’s son-in-law. However, this isn’t about Roger; it’s about Claire. She’s devastated that she couldn’t save Malva and the baby. No matter what happened, there’s no way the baby deserved death.
Someone is going to be arrested
There’s a moment where a group of people with muskets are arriving at the Ridge. It’s clear that someone is arriving to arrest Claire, and it looks like this could be Richard Brown’s Committee of Safety. We all know what’s really going to happen here. What’s the betting that Claire is the one who will be arrested until Tom gets to the truth?
