Outlander Season 6 is not coming to Netflix in April 2022

Many fans are waiting for more episodes of Outlander to come to Netflix in the U.S. April isn’t going to see Outlander Season 6 arrive.

We would love to bring some good news about Outlander coming to Netflix U.S. We double-checked the list of releases in April 2022 just in case, but Outlander Season 6 wasn’t there.

To be honest, we never expected it to be on the list, but it didn’t stop us from hoping for a miracle. The fifth season hasn’t come to Netflix in the U.S. just yet. Plus, the sixth season is still running on STARZ.

When is Outlander Season 6 on Netflix U.S.?

We’re not going to see the season arrive on Netflix for some time. In fact, it’s going to be a couple of years.

Outlander is a STARZ original. There’s no way the network will want to see all of its content be on Netflix at once. It needs exclusivity for at least one season. With how long Droughtlanders can be, that means a long wait for new seasons to head to Netflix.

Right now, we’re looking at a two-year wait. That is something that would match the releases for previous seasons. It’s also what we expect for the fifth season.

The Outlander Season 6 finale is set to air on Sunday, May 1. With that in mind, we’re looking at May 1, 2024 for the season to arrive on Netflix in the United States. It certainly is a long wait, and we should have Outlander Season 7 out on STARZ before that.

This is just in the U.S. Other areas get the series sooner. It all depends on the individual contracts as there are different licensing requirements for the streamer.
