After not seeing the MacNeills for some time, Jamie, Claire, and others ride out to their cabin. It turns out they’re not going to come across anything good. There’s a dysentery outbreak on the Ridge.

Claire clearly knows how dangerous it can be. And it’s sure to still be dangerous for her, Bree, and Roger despite vaccinations. In fact, that brings us to the next takeaway.

It looks like Claire is going to catch dysentery during the episode. She collapses and suffers from a fever. Of course, there’s a chance that it is something else entirely.

Claire may fear the worse about Jamie

With everything that’s happening, there’s a chance that Claire will start to distrust Jamie. This may just be fleeting in her fever, but it would only be natural for her to be concerned. Could what she thinks she sees be true?
