Outlander spoilers: What to expect in Outlander Season 6, Episode 5

It’s time for a barbecue in Outlander Season 6, Episode 5. We’re taking a look inside the Outlander spoilers for the episode.

We get into a new month with another new episode of Outlander. Claire and Jamie get some time together, but it may not be for too long. There is a lot happening during the new episode as the Revolutionary War brews.

This episode brings in a person from real history once more. We get to meet Flora MacDonald, who was the woman to help get Bonnie Prince Charlie back to mainland Europe after the failed Jacobite rising. It will be interesting to see her and Claire interact.

Back at the Ridge, there is potential trouble with the amount of time Roger is spending with Amy McCallum.

Take a look at the promo for the new episode. It covers a lot of the drama that’s to come, including Brianna worried about how it looks for Roger spending so much time with Amy.

We also get more reminders of the war to come. Tensions are high in Wilmington, and Jamie is going to need to deal with that. He’ll have Lord John Grey by his side to help with that.

Outlander 6×05 synopsis

The synopsis makes it clear the Flora MacDonald will make an appearance in the episode. The images also confirm that. The synopsis is mostly focused on the fact that tensions are rising. This is something both Claire and Jamie will need to deal with during the episode.

We also get a little look at what’s to come for Roger. He thinks that everything is all innocent, but rumors are circulating. It turns out Amy may have some feelings for Roger, and he’s going to need to take action to prevent more rumors spreading.

"Jamie is forced to toe the political line between loyalists and rebels despite knowing the outcome of the impending war. Meanwhile, Roger empathizes with a young widow on the Ridge and is forced to take a step back from helping her after it appears she feels more for him than friendship."

Take a look at all the images released for this episode. There are a lot more than normal, with most of them focused on Flora MacDonald at River Run. The great thing about the images is that they confirm some returning faces. Who is with Jocasta? That’s Duncan Innes, who she married in Outlander Season 5.

We also have to point out the photos with the church bell. Roger is working with the Christies to put the finishing touches on the church, that is now a meeting house.
