It’s time to learn about Young Ian’s time with the Mohawk in Outlander Season 6, Episode 4

As expected, Outlander Season 6, Episode 4 brought us the story of Young Ian’s time with the Mohawk. Here’s everything that happened during the episode.

Outlander Season 6 continues to bring more of those quieter, favorite moments from A Breath of Snow and Ashes. That included a quiet moment between Claire and Jamie at the start of the episode. Who didn’t love Jamie using the words “Greased Lightning” and “Thunderstruck?”

It’s good to get some of these quiet moments. Some elements of the show feel more like the first season, and I think we’re seeing the pay-off of Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan becoming producers on the series to get these moments.

However, there isn’t the time to remain focused on these. There’s a war brewing.

Jamie gives Fergus an important job

Jamie needed to get a message to New Bern. That meant sending Fergus out on the journey while Jamie headed out to the Cherokee to deliver the guns. We get to see a slightly happier Fergus, and there’s also a hint of things to come for him. Take note of his moment reminiscing about printing the news.

There isn’t too much time to focus on Fergus, though. Major MacDonald, Jamie, Young Ian, Roger, Arch Bug, and Brianna, along with a few others, are testing out the guns that were delivered for Bird. They need to make sure the guns are good.

Anyone else love Roger’s excitement about hitting one of the targets? It’s a shame Brianna couldn’t be happier for him, but she’s clearly got something on her mind. She knows what’s to come for the Cherokee.

Bree knows the guns won’t be enough to save the Cherokee. She goes through the things that will happen to the Cherokee, including the Trail of Tears. You can see why it plays on her mind. There isn’t much they can really do to stop this.
