Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 brought us a powerful episode and left us with more questions. Here are the big ones to answer in the next episodes.

A lot happened in Outlander Season 6, Episode 3. This was a huge episode for Fergus, with Cesar Domboy finally getting his chance to shine. We also saw more from Young Ian, Malva, and Tom Christie.

There were certainly some big questions left over at the end of the episode. These questions are sure to be answered in the episodes to come. Here are the ones we need answering first.

5 biggest questions from Outlander Season 6, Episode 3

5. When will Lizzie choose the twins?

There is a great scene in Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 with Lizzie and the twins. It’s clear that she knows how to tell the difference between them, but she likes them both. They are also both very fond of her. So, what’s going to happen here? Is this a storyline from the books that the show will keep true to form? I certainly hope so!

4. Will Tom take Richard Brown up on his offer?

Tom mentioned that Richard Brown has offered his Committee of Safety as protection. Claire doesn’t want him to take Richard up on that offer, but we can’t really trust Tom, can we? Is it possible that after the things with the book, Tom will decide to turn to Richard?

3. What is the Christies’ secret?

Claire brought up Malva’s age. This is something in the books that Jamie thinks about, but it’s hard to have internalized thoughts on TV so it had to be brought up in a conversation somehow. Something doesn’t add up with Tom in Ardsmuir, and it’s clear that Malva wants to avoid the conversation. What is the secret that the Christies are keeping?

2. What will Young Ian choose to do?

Young Ian opened up to Malva in a way he hasn’t with anyone else. He’s not sure where he really belongs right now. He doesn’t know what religion he believes in, or what he really wants in his life just yet. He has lived a life worth living and become a man of worth, but what’s next? This is going to be something to cover in the next episode.

1. What’s the recovery process like for Fergus and Marsali?

Fergus isn’t the only one who needs to recover from everything that happened. Fergus and Marsali as a couple need to recover. What is that going to look like? I hope we get to see this play out on screen and not just see that they’ve moved on and are a happy family again. Will they remain at the Ridge or decide it’s best to head out elsewhere?
