Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 live ratings: Both metrics tick up
The live ratings for Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 are in. Both metrics saw a tick up for what is Fergus’s biggest episode to date.
Outlander Season 6 is not stepping off the gas when it comes to bringing us some heart-wrenching moments. Did we expect anything different when it comes to this series? I’m not sure we should have!
The new episode https://claireandjamie.com/2022/03/22/outlander-season-6-episode-3-moments/was a big one for Fergus, as he deals with his depression, shame, guilt, and fear. And there is certainly some grief there, as Young Ian said. Meanwhile, Young Ian is dealing with his own grief and uncertainty, while Roger has found his place on the Ridge.
As for the women, Marsali is growing into a fierce mother, while Claire continues to struggle with the PTSD. The tick up in the live ratings probably aren’t all that surprising.
Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 live ratings
According to TV Series Finale, the live ratings on the STARZ channel were up in both the demo and the total audience. The total audience was just a small upward tick, going up by 2.8% to 0.575 million viewers.
The demo was up much more. It rose 20% to 0.6, which is the highest of the season so far. It’s still down from the previous seasons, but this isn’t anything to worry about. Most people now will watch on the STARZ App. It offers the opportunity to watch the episode earlier than it airs on the channel, with the option to watch at a time that suits you. And it’s very easy to rewatch the episodes.
These live ratings mean little for the series. That doesn’t mean they mean little to us. We like to get an idea of how many people watched an episode.
