There is a lot going on in the world of Outlander. We know that the Christies are trouble, and it looks like Malva is the one who is up to something in the images for the episode. We see her looking through a window at the Big House, and we’re sure this is Claire’s surgery.

What could Malva be looking at? We know she’s intrigued by medicine, and Claire is interested in having this young woman become her apprentice. So, why would she need to look in on a surgery? Is this Tom’s surgery that she’s watching? We know Tom doesn’t like the idea of Malva joining Claire.

Alternatively, she could be spying on Jamie. This is going to be important for a future storyline as long as the show follows the book storyline.

There are two other images with Malva. One is her talking to Young Ian. The synopsis for Outlander Season 6, Episode 3 makes it clear that Young Ian and Malva will form a friendship. She’s sure to be curious about his life with the Mohawk. After all, she is an inquisitive young woman.

Then there’s an image of Malva with Jamie. He just wants to be helpful and a gentleman. What he won’t realize is that Malva is likely planning something now that he’s shown kindness. She has secrets that she won’t want anyone to know.

We also have images with Fergus. He is going through a very difficult time. It all started with shame over Marsali and Claire being attacked, but now it’s turned into fear and anger. Fergus is sure that Henri-Christian being a dwarf is his fault.

Even without him feeling like it’s his fault, he has legitimate fears. This is a time period when all differences were deemed as bad. Henri-Christian will be viewed as a demon by many people, and Fergus will have seen the type of life dwarves have experienced in Paris. He doesn’t want that for his son.
