With new characters coming to the Ridge in the Outlander Season 6 premiere, there are questions about relationships. Will Roger have an affair?

The Outlander Season 6 premiere introduced the Christies, but there were other tenants who arrived. Amy McCallum and her sons are also new characters, and it’s clear that they will become important. It looks like they’ll stick around for some time.
Is Amy trouble? She’s a widow struggling to find a way to survive with her young children. Roger and Brianna immediately felt the need to help, but it was Roger who figured something out. He offered to build a cabin for the McCallums, telling Aidan that he’d also be able to help as the “man of the house.”

Is it possible that sparks will fly between Roger and Amy? Could Roger cheat on Brianna in Outlander Season 6? After all, he took some time to decide that he was going to choose Brianna and Jemmy in the Outlander Season 4 finale.
We can look at A Breath of Snow and Ashes for the answers. There is some good news for fans of Bree and Roger. There’s no need to worry. Roger’s eyes will not stray as long as the show sticks to the book.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t talk. People on the Ridge notice that Roger spends a lot of time with Amy and her family. This is innocent, though. Roger simply wants to help Amy find a place and her footing in the new world. He wants to make sure Aidan is able to step up as the “man of the house” despite being so young.
This is also part of Roger’s journey to become a minister. The things he is doing are in a minister way and not in the way of a man who is interested in another woman. That doesn’t stop Brianna from getting angry, but Roger is able to explain things and he realizes what things look like to others on the Ridge.
