Roger talks to Bree about his plan in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 52
After talking to Jamie about it, Roger tells Bree’s his plans to become a minister in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 52. It’s a big moment as it also helps Bree understand why he’s been spending so much time with others.
Up to this point, Bree has been annoyed. We saw her anger a couple of chapters ago, fed up with Roger going off to Amy’s house yet again. There are a lot of rumors going around at the moment. However, Roger now has the chance to explain what he wants to do.
It’s time to become a minister. They have a great moment between them joking about the preachers of their time.
After that, we stay with Brianna. She spends some time with Jamie describing Disney. It’s a great bonding moment for the two, but we also get reminded of some of Bree’s happier times as a child. Life with Claire and Frank was happy at times.
There is a little bit of foreshadowing in this chapter, and I’ll get to that in that section of the post. As for adapting for the series, I’m sure we’ll get the Roger/Brianna moment. I do hope there’s a moment for Bree to talk about Disney with Jamie. We need a moment between the two for bonding.
Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 52.
