Outlander Season 5 is not coming to Netflix in March 2022

With Outlander Season 6 premiering on STARZ this month, there’s no doubt that fans were hoping Outlander Season 5 would come to Netflix too.

Most fans are getting ready for Outlander Season 6 on STARZ. However, there are some who still haven’t had the chance to see the fifth season. It is only available to stream on STARZ right now, and there will be a lot of people who have only watched the show on Netflix.

There’s no doubt that you were hoping the fifth season would arrive on Netflix before Season 6 premiered on STARZ. That’s not going to happen. We’ve double-checked the list of Netflix releases in the U.S., and Outlander Season 5 is not on the list.

If I’m honest, I didn’t expect to see the season drop at this point. There is one date I’ve had in mind for the release of Season 5 on Netflix.

Outlander Season 5 release date on Netflix predictions

Outlander Season 5 is likely to arrive on Netflix U.S. around May 10. This is two years after the finale aired on STARZ, and it certainly fits the release of the third and fourth seasons on Netflix.

Keep in mind that this is just for Netflix U.S. The series is already on Netflix in various other countries. In fact, some countries will get Season 6 on Netflix right away due to the countries not having STARZ yet.

Releasing the season after Season 6 comes to STARZ makes sense for the premium cable network. This is a STARZ Original. STARZ will want to keep some of the seasons exclusive to the platform. It’s not going to be long after the Season 6 finale that Season 5 will arrive on Netflix if my prediction is right.

We’re then looking at April or May 2024 for Outlander Season 6 to come to Netflix. The exact date will depend on when the finale airs on STARZ this year.
