Outlander Season 6 tease: Roger the Patriot
We’re not too far away from the Outlander Season 6 premiere. We get a look at what to expect in the episode for Roger and Brianna.
While there are a lot of fans excited to see what’s next for Claire and Jamie, Brianna and Roger certainly have a following of their own. We’ll get to see them grow individually and as a couple in Outlander Season 6, and the sneak peek Town and Country recently got shows that.
The two have decided that home is where the heart is. After trying to get to their own time through the stones, they and Jemmy found themselves back in the 18th century. Now it’s time to accept that this is where they belong and find a place in the world.
However, they have something that’s coming up that will worry them. It’s all about the Revolutionary War.
Roger is a Patriot in the Outlander Season 6 premiere
Roger and Brianna discuss the Boston Tea Party during the premiere after a comment about trying to find tea or coffee. It’s clear that some of the supplies are falling short, and it’s only going to get worse.
Roger and Claire were on the wrong side of history when looking at where they grew up. They are both British. However, Brianna grew up in America, putting her on the right side of history. And now everyone is going to have to make sure they switch to the right side of history eventually.
Despite being British, Roger knows that America has to become America. What happens if it doesn’t? It would have a huge effect on future events, including the two World Wars. And this is something that’s really hitting Roger. It’s all becoming very real. Up to this point, it was just history or it was far enough in the future to not be too concerned about it. Now they will have to prepare.
