There are a few TV shows we used to get us through Droughtlander. Sanditon may have been one of them, and there’s just a week to wait for Sanditon Season 2.

One thing all Outlander fans need are TV shows that help us get through the various Droughtlanders we face. Droughtlanders are long and hard, and we want shows that offer something a little similar to Claire and Jamie’s love story.

Sometimes, it’s not the love story that we want. We just want something set in a similar time period. We want a journey of a strong female lead looking for ways to expand her life in all sorts of ways. Sanditon offers something along those lines as we follow Charlotte on her journey to find love, happiness, and friendships.

The series was originally canceled after just one season. However, the story wasn’t over, and eventually, PBS Masterpiece was able to find a co-producer in the form of BritBox to get the series back on the air. We finally get to see what it’s all about.

Sanditon Season 2 is coming to PBS Masterpiece in March 2022

We’ll get to see the new season arrive in less than a month. The first episode arrives on Sunday, March 20. You’ll be able to watch it at 9/8c on PBS Masterpiece, which means you can check out the new episode of Outlander first and not have to choose between the two shows.

There are six episodes to this season. That does mean the season is likely to come to an end around about the same time as Outlander Season 6. If you really need something to get you through the next Droughtlander, you can always save Sanditon Season 2. All episodes will be on PBS Masterpiece.

The season follows Charlotte after that difficult ending in the first season. The love of her life has chosen another, and now she needs to return to the seaside town and figure out what to do next. She doesn’t have to worry too long. There are plenty of suitors coming her way.
