Roger is the one people turn to when it comes to needing a minister in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 38

This chapter of Outlander Book 6 starts with Claire checking in on Henri-Christian. However, it turns into a chapter that focuses on Roger and his calling.

We need to catch up with Marsali and Henri-Christian. Now that Claire understands why Fergus is worried, she needs to find out more from Marsali. Of course, there have been things said about Marsali and the baby. However, Jamie is still respected enough to keep the chatter to a minimum.

Before we can get too into it, one of the McCallum boys turns up at the cabin. He needs Roger, who he is referring to as a minister. Everyone pretty much knows that he wants Roger, and it’s clear that people are starting to look at him as a minister.

With this in mind, it’s clear to see where the foreshadowing is. Roger still hasn’t found his place, but he will do.

I’m sure we’ll get something like this chapter in the TV series in some way. We know that Roger figures out what he can offer to the people of the time, but will the storyline flow the exact same way as it does in Outlander Book 6?
