Claire worries about pregnancy for a second in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 32

There is a lot on the minds of various characters right now. For Claire, it’s all about pregnancy in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 32.

This chapter is a very short one. It’s only to move us onto the next part of the story, while dropping that very real fear that Claire is pregnant. I’ve got to question just how long as past from the abduction, though. I didn’t get morning sickness until I was around six to eight weeks with both of mine and I know very few women who got it earlier.

Is it really possible for Claire to be worried about that? It seems that maybe it is. But does Mrs. Bug worry about that too?

This chapter hasn’t been used in the series. I’m not sure if it will be or not. We might skip over any idea that Claire could be pregnant from the attack. After all, Jamie never had that conversation with Roger. I’ll get to my thoughts on this in the adaptation section.

As for foreshadowing, there is a little of that, but it’s not about pregnancy. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
