Claire needs to move forward with her life after the trauma in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 30

It had only been days since Claire had been rescued, but it’s clear she’s trying to move forward with her life in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 30. That means getting ready to see Lionel Brown.

However, not everyone is happy with that idea. Jamie has strict orders against it, and both Fergus and Young Ian will go through with those orders. Claire doesn’t exactly argue right now.

There is some discussion of what to do with Lionel Brown, but a later part of the chapter moves on to Thomas Christie, who needs some medical attention. It really is about life getting somewhat back to normal already. There’s no time to think too much about the events.

This chapter does have a little bit of foreshadowing in it. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in that section of the post.

We didn’t really see it used on the series. There just wasn’t the time to include it all, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section. If you’ve read previous posts about the Outlander Season 5 finale, you’ll know I actually liked the way the series handled this storyline.

Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 30.
