Claire and Jamie figure out a path of recovery in Outlander Book 6, Chapter 29

We get to another long chapter of Outlander Book 6. It’s focused on Claire’s initial healing, along with the other characters dealing with things they’ve seen and done.

The chapter jumps between different viewpoints. We get a chance to see Jamie’s thoughts in the aftermath, and he has one thought on his mind. It’s all about babies.

Then there’s Bree, who wants to help as many people as she can. There is one important person to focus on since Claire has Jamie.

And of course, we have Claire. She is the main priority for everyone, and she has to work through the damage in her own mind. This is a woman who has been through a war and lost two husbands. She isn’t going to let this break her.

We did get some of this chapter in Outlander Season 5. There were strategic moments skipped over, and I’m not surprised about that. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

It does foreshadow a little. However, this is more about tying things up from the previous chapters to be able to move onto the next part of the story.

Let’s dive into A Breath of Snow and Ashes Chapter 29.
