Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly foreshadows Fergus’s storyline. It does make us think that Fergus is beating Marsali, but we all know Fergus. While he is a man of his time, he wouldn’t beat his wife. There is something going on for him to turn into what he is becoming.

This is just the start of Fergus’s depression storyline. Brianna points out the problem. Fergus doesn’t really know what to do with himself. He doesn’t really have a place because of his hand. Fergus is struggling with how he can be a good husband and a good father in this time period, especially when he sees his wife, his father, and his brother-in-law doing it all for him.

We know that Fergus has found things he is good at, though. Roger and Bree need to get to the bottom of it all to help the entire family.

Adapting A Breath of Snow and Ashes chapter

I do think that we’ll get this chapter in Outlander Season 6. We know that we’ll get to see more of Fergus and Marsali. There have been teases of what’s to come for the two of them.

We’ve already seen that Fergus doesn’t really have much to do at the Ridge. I’m starting to wonder if this has been on purpose. He doesn’t feel like he has a place, and this leads to his depression.

On top of that, Marsali fears she’s going to hell and then she gives birth to Henri-Christian. Fergus doesn’t know how to deal with all that in the books, and we know it’s coming in the show. It may not be exactly the way the book has developed the storyline, but I do hope to see quite a bit of it.
