We’re more than ready for Outlander Season 6. The new trailer makes it clear Claire and Jamie have more than the Revolution to worry about.

There will be a lot going on in the world of Outlander Season 6. The biggest story is certainly Claire and Jamie trying to protect the Ridge from the Revolution. It’s not going to help that not everyone is going to want to be on Jamie’s eventual side of the war.

Right now, Jamie is a loyalist. He needs to remain loyal to the Crown until the last minute if he wants to keep his home and family safe. However, he knows that he needs to change.

But what if the Revolution doesn’t actually happen? That’s something Brianna and Roger are questioning in the Outlander Season 6 trailer. It’s not clear why they’re worried about this since we’ve seen that the big moments in history can’t be changed. However, the idea of America not becoming the America they know is clearly on their minds.

Claire struggles with the aftermath in Outlander Season 6

We know that Claire is going to struggle with the aftermath of the Outlander Season 5 finale. She’s not the only one, but she is the main focus in the new trailer.

Jamie wants to help his wife. She’s been where she is right now. He will remember what it’s like to deal with the trauma afterward. Claire is in that position where she’ll be struggling to sleep and struggling to trust. She’ll be struggling with replaying the events in her mind, especially with the way she disassociated during the abduction and attack.

Jamie deals with new tenants on the Ridge

Meanwhile, we’ll get to meet at least three new tenants on the Ridge. Tom Christie and his children will move in, and it’s clear that Jamie doesn’t like Tom. We’ve already seen a clip of Jamie sharing that he doesn’t really know what to do now.

The trailer shows that Jamie makes it clear that he is in charge. It’s his way or the highway, even if Jamie won’t understand that reference right now. He doesn’t want Tom Christie trying to form his own faction on the Ridge, but if you’ve read the books, you know what plays out.

There are a few other elements that stand out in the promo. We get to see Roger’s church being built and one of the local Native American tribes will come into the story. There’s a lot to get excited about.
