It’s time to get one of our Droughtlander shows back. The A Discovery of Witches Season 3 premiere airs tonight. Here’s all you need to know about it.
We’re certainly ready for new episodes of A Discovery of Witches. The series is one of our Droughtlander watches, and we still have a little while longer to wait for Outlander Season 6 to premiere.
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 premiere will pick up off the back of the Season 2 finale. Diana and Matthew are back in the present day, and they return to some devastating news. Diana’s aunt, Emily, has died.
Diana is going to be out for revenge against those responsible. However, she learns that things aren’t going to be all that easy. You see, she’s carrying twins. Now she’ll end up with the other magical beings after her because vampires and witches aren’t allowed to mate. Matthew will need to turn to family to protect his unborn twins, and that includes Steven Cree’s Gallowglass.
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 premiere release time
There are three places to watch the new episode of the series. You can watch via Sundance Now, Shudder, or AMC+. It’s completely up to you which streaming platform you get, but it’s good to know that all three are available via Amazon Channels to keep things simple. If you get AMC+, you’re getting the majority of Sundance Now and Shudder content anyway.
The episode will drop at midnight PT. That means you’re waiting until 3 a.m. ET tonight, Saturday, Jan. 8. Only one episode is going to be released. Like many other streaming platforms now, A Discovery of Witches is a weekly release.
The bad news is that this is the final season. At least there are enough episodes to get through this last bit of Droughtlander.
A Discovery of Witches Season 3 premieres on Sundance Now, Shudder, and AMC+ tonight.
