Sanditon Season 2 is not coming to PBS Masterpiece in January 2022
Sanditon is one of the shows we hoped would get us through Droughtlander. We’re still waiting for Sanditon Season 2 to premiere on PBS Masterpiece.
The bad news is Sanditon Season 2 won’t arrive in time to get us through this last bit of Droughtlander. The good news is that there will be episodes available for the next Droughtlander.
We double-checked the list of PBS Masterpiece releases in January, and this show wasn’t on the list. We didn’t expect that, though. After all, we have a premiere date.
There has been some exciting news about the series, though. We’ve got our first look at Alexander Vlahos in the series.
Sanditon Season 2 premiere date on PBS Masterpiece
We have to wait until the end of March for the new season to arrive. The premiere will air on Sunday, March 20 at 9/8c. We’ll then get an episode each week, which means there will be episodes in May 2022. This is important as we won’t have many episodes of Outlander Season 6 in May.
TVLine shared some photos of the season, which focus on the new men. One new man is played by Alexander Vlahos, and he is the reason why we’re looking forward to Sanditon Season 2 so much.
The photo doesn’t give too much away. We just get him staring at us through the camera with his sketchpad and pen in hand. Vlahos is playing Charles Lockhart, who is an artist and a critic. He’s described as worldly and he is an explorer. We’ll get to see him interact with Miss Georgiana Lambe, played by Crystal Clarke.
You’ll want to catch up on the first season right now, giving you something to watch during this last bit of Droughtlander. Season 2 picks up nine months after the end of the first season.
Sanditon Season 2 will premiere on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday, March 20 at 9/8c. Catch up on the series via Amazon Channels.
