Outlander Season 6 is not coming to STARZ in January 2022
All eyes are on when Droughtlander will come to an end. There is still a wait on our hands. Outlander Season 6 is not coming next month.
We’ve double-checked the list of STARZ releases just in case. The bad news is that Outlander Season 6 isn’t on there.
If we’re honest, we never expected it to be. We just hoped that STARZ would decide to pull the return of the series forward. After all, we’re all looking forward to the end of Droughtlander, right?
Droughtlander is almost at an end. We do have the premiere date. There is the light at the end of the tunnel.
Outlander Season 6 premiere date
STARZ has confirmed that Outlander Season 6 will premiere on Sunday, March 6. The series will air at 8/7c, which is the timeslot it’s always had. The first season just aired on Saturdays instead of Sundays until STARZ found the day that worked best for its originals to air!
The show will be released in a weekly format. That’s always been the case for STARZ. While it does have the app element, it hasn’t always had this. It was a premium cable channel first, and that means the episodes air weekly on the channel.
The good news is if you have the app, you can watch a little earlier than those watching through the old-fashioned method. Episodes drop at midnight ET on Sundays, and you’ll have to wait until 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sundays on the channel.
A new clip for Outlander Season 6
The series treated us to a Christmas gift. We got a clip of the sixth season, and it was all about Claire and Jamie.
The clip starts with Jamie sharing a little bit about Tom Christie. They were at Ardsmuir together, but when Jamie put out the word that all Ardsmuir men were welcome to settle, he didn’t expect Tom to take him up on that offer. He isn’t going to turn the man away, though.
