Outlander Season 6 spoilers: John Quincy Myers will return
If you want to see more of your favorite Welshman on Outlander Season 6, there’s some exciting news. John Quincy Myers will be back on the Ridge.
We know that the Outlander TV series has changed a few storylines here and there. This is especially the case with some of the characters and how their storylines work.
John Quincy Myers has gained a much larger role in the series than he did in the books. He turns up in Jamie’s time of need to save Claire, and he’s the type of man who Jamie will always be able to rely on. After Jamie and Claire saved his life at the Ridge, he has remained loyal to them to return the debt.
He doesn’t show up in A Breath of Snow and Ashes, so there were a lot of questions about whether he’d return in Outlander Season 6. We now have confirmation that he will.
Outlander Season 6 image shows John Quincy Myers is back
There are a few behind the scenes photos available for Outlander Season 6. Most of them include characters we know all about. We see Claire, Jamie, Bree, and Roger, which isn’t surprising. Then there are Young Ian, Marsali, Lizzie, Fergus, and Josiah Beardsley included. We even have images of the Christie family.
One that stood out immediately was the image of John Quincy Myers. He’s on a horse and it looks like he’s at the Ridge.
How could John Quincy Myers be included in Outlander Season 6?
Now the question is how he’ll be written in. It is possible that he could take Bobby Higgins’s place in the story slightly. Higgins ends up as a trusted friend of Jamie, and this is a role that we’ve seen JQM take during the last couple of seasons.
Another option is that he’s just written into the storylines as an extra body. Or maybe he could be there to give Young Ian someone to talk to since he’ll know some of the cultures of the tribes.
There are a few ways that he could be utilized in the story, especially since his storyline didn’t involve him only turning up at the Ridge to deliver letters like it does in the books. I’m excited to see what’s done with him.
