How many episodes will Men in Kilts Season 2 have?
We now know that Men in Kilts Season 2 is officially happening. This is exciting, but there is a little bit of disappointing news about the episode count.
Men in Kilts was a huge success on STARZ. Outlander fans everywhere wanted to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish on their road trip around Scotland. This was a chance to learn all about the Scottish history, culture, sports, and much more.
Now it’s time to go on the road with them again. Well, that’s coming up. We know that Men in Kilts Season 2 is officially happening.
The road trip is going to be around New Zealand this time. Considering its connections to Scotland, that’s not surprising. It also has a connection to actor Graham McTavish.
Men in Kilts Season 2 episode count
There is a little bit of bad news when it comes to Men in Kilts Season 2. There will be fewer episodes in the season compared to the first.
Season 1 had eight episodes to take us around Scotland. New Zealand is a bigger country, but we’re only going to get six episodes to the season. To be fair, the history of New Zealand with the Scottish connections is much shorter than Scotland’s own history. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not as interesting, especially with the Scottish routes and the history of the native people before the white colonists occupied the land.
Update: Men in Kilts Season 2 will now only have four episodes.
It’s not clear why the episode count is shorter. This should mean that we won’t have as long to wait for the season as we would have done if there were going to be eight episodes. We’ll hopefully get to see the second season by late 2022 or early 2023. We need this to get through the next Droughtlander.
Men in Kilts Season 1 is available to stream on STARZ. Stay tuned for the latest updates about Season 2.
