Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

There is a little bit of foreshadowing in this chapter when it comes to Claire. She’s starting to get older, and that means we’re getting closer to her hair turning white. Nayawenne said that Claire would come into her full power when her hair turns white, and that’s what we’re all waiting to happen.

I guess really, it’s not foreshadowing. We already know Claire will come into her power. It’s more just that reminder that it’s going to happen.

Adapting The Fiery Cross chapter

The scene by the window was included in Outlander Season 5. I know that a lot of fans loved seeing it played out. We didn’t have the inclusion of Jemmy crying or Roger trying to sing, but we did get the moment between Claire and Jamie.

I love the intimate moments. I love seeing how in love with each other these two are. They go through their ups and downs, but that’s marriage. It takes hard work. In the end, the two still find something to love about each other every day.

We need to see marriages portrayed like this on TV. We need to see how they make it work. That’s why I’m glad this chapter was used, even if I didn’t really connect to it.

I’m not really that surprised the Lawrence Stern part was missed out. We didn’t meet the character in Outlander Season 3, and there wasn’t much need for this part in the overall story.
