Roger shares a bittersweet dream with Brianna in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 105

We head back to Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 105. Roger and Brianna are spending time in bed together, and it’s time for Roger to share a dream.

It all starts with Brianna sharing that she isn’t mad that Roger has read her dream journal. After thinking about why she isn’t mad, she does ask for Roger to share one of his dreams. She doesn’t want a dream that everyone has, like turning up naked at school. She wants a personal dream.

Oh, and it can’t be a waking dream. That’s when we get a rather bittersweet dream that holds a lot of meaning to Roger. Him telling her this also holds a lot of meaning.

The chapter wasn’t used in Outlander Season 5. I don’t think it was really all that needed to be honest, and I’m kind of glad that it was skipped over because it wouldn’t have really worked for a TV show format.

There is some foreshadowing within it when it comes to Roger’s storyline in the books. I’ll get to my thoughts on the foreshadowing that I saw in that section of this breakdown.

Let’s dive into The Fiery Cross Chapter 105.
