Sanditon Season 2 is not coming to PSB Masterpiece in November 2021

There are a few shows we’re keeping an eye on to help us through Droughtlander. Sanditon Season 2 is one of them, but it’s not coming in November.

We’re certainly looking forward to a new season of Sanditon. The first season was certainly a fun ride, and finding out that it had been uncanceled was the best news ever. Well, we thought it was the best news ever.

The best news has been that two Outlander actors are going to be in the series. One you’ll immediately recognize is Alexander Vlahos. While he hasn’t been on our screens as Allan Christie yet, the promotion around him on the series has been big so it’s hard to miss him when he’s in something else.

Rosie Graham is the other actor joining Sanditon for its second season. She was in one episode of Outlander, as Morna Cameron, Jocasta’s daughter. She’ll get a much bigger role in Sanditon Season 2.

Sanditon Season 2 premiere date on PBS Masterpiece

The second season isn’t going to premiere in November 2021. That’s not surprising. We didn’t really expect it to arrive next month. In fact, we didn’t even expect it in 2021. The show was only picked back up earlier this year and it takes time to film and get through post-production.

We do have some good news, though. The season has a premiere date. We’ll see Sanditon Season 2 arrive on Sunday, March 20, 2022. That’s not too long to wait. The season will be here before you know it.

It’s not going to get us through the last bit of this Droughtlander. However, it will help us through the next Droughtlander. We’re expecting Outlander Season 6 to premiere in February and end in April, so we’ll have some episodes of Sanditon Season 2 left to get us through the start of the next Droughtlander.
