Outlander Season 5 is not coming to Netflix in November 2021

We are certainly keeping an eye on when we can watch Outlander Season 5 on Netflix in the U.S. It’s not happening next month.

We’ve double-checked the list of releases on Netflix in November 2021 just in case the series was there. Sadly, Outlander Season 5 is not on the list. There’s still a bit of a wait on our hands.

If we’re honest, we didn’t expect to see the season included on the list of arrivals. We’re not expecting to see the fifth season of the series until next year at some point. And we’re not expecting the sixth season on Netflix U.S. until much later.

This is just Netflix U.S. Outlander Season 5 is on Netflix in other territories. That’s not much good if you can only access the U.S. version, though, is it?

Outlander Season 5 release date on Netflix

When can we expect the fifth season to arrive? We’re predicting May 10, 2022. Yes, we’re getting that specific.

Seasons 3 and 4 both arrived exactly two years after their finales aired on STARZ. It looks like this is the pattern in the contracts, and it certainly makes sense. With the long Droughtlanders, STARZ will want to keep a season exclusive to its platform for as long as possible. Two years should be enough time to get through filming and the release of a new season.

Of course, nobody could predict the pandemic. However, even with the two-year rule, we should still see one season remain exclusive on the streamer. Season 5 will be the exclusive season up to the release of Outlander Season 6. That will get a weekly release, but the season should wrap before the May 10 date (the anniversary of the Season 5 finale date) when Outlander Season 5 likely heads to Netflix.

It’s something we’re keeping an eye on. We’ll be sure to let you know when we find out when Season 5 is heading to Netflix in the U.S.
