The Christies show up at Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 94

It’s time for trouble to come to the Ridge in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 94. Of course, it’s not in this book that we find out just how troublesome the Christies really are.

We get the initial introduction to them during this chapter, and there doesn’t seem to be any red flags. It’s only when Roger mentions the name to Jamie that we realize there could be something the matter.

Roger spends his time learning who Tom Christie is and what brings him to North Carolina. He wasn’t originally in the colony. He’d originally been in South Carolina during his indenture and then ended up working there for some time.

We also only get to briefly meet Allan and Malva. In fact, they’re basically only mentioned in the chapter with the quick introduction, but there is more to come with this family.

The chapter hasn’t been included in the series just yet. However, we will get to meet the Christies in Outlander Season 6. That’s something we already know.

There is a little foreshadowing in this chapter. It’s not a lot, but enough to know we’ll need to keep a close eye on this family.
