We have some exciting news for those wanting to see Alexander Vlahos on their screens. Sanditon Season 2 has a premiere date. We have to wait until March, though.

We haven’t even had a chance to see Vlahos on Outlander yet, but we’re already excited for the other projects he’s in. One of those is Sanditon, which was picked up for a second season after PBS found another network to help fund it.

Vlahos is playing Charles Lockhart, who is described as a “mad hedonistic character.” We’re still not sure how involved he’ll be with Charlotte just yet.

One thing we knew was that the season wouldn’t arrive in 2021. Now we finally have a premiere date for the second season.

Sanditon Season 2 premiere date

We have to wait a while for Sanditon Season 2. Sadly, it’s not going to be a show to get us through Droughtlander. It might get us through some of the next Droughtlander, but there’s likely going to be a Sunday night clash. Uh oh!

Sanditon Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, March 20, 2022. The episodes will air at 9/8c, which would usually not be a problem. After all, Outlander takes the 8/7c timeslot on STARZ. However, word on the street via Sam Heughan is that the episodes are going to be longer than normal. That means longer than an hour, so there may be a clash come the end of March depending on when in “early 2022” Outlander premieres.

We also get to find out that there’s another Outlander face turning up in the season. Rosie Graham, who played Morna Graham in Outlander Season 5, will star as Alison, Charlotte’s sister. We have double the reason now to watch the series! The clash will be worth it.
