NYCC 2021 did not disappoint. Not only did we get a teaser, but we also got to see the Outlander Season 6 key art. Let’s take a look at what it hints.

While we didn’t get a premiere date, we did get the teaser for Outlander Season 6 at NYCC 2021. At the same time, we got a look at the key art.

The key art is important. It’s used as the DVD cover and it’s often used for the promotional posters. Fans will have seen the poster around NYCC 2021.

Key art also helps to hint at some of the things to come in the season. We certainly get a hint at a new type of problem for the Frasers to face. It’s all about the elements.

The key art has a snowy touch to it. If you look at the teaser for the season, you’ll see that there is snow around. This could be linked to when the series had to film in Scotland, but it could also be because the snowy weather will bring a very real problem for Fraser’s Ridge.

There are moments in the book where Claire talks about the colder weather. Everyone has to make sure the crops are planted and then harvested in time for the different elements. We just haven’t had a chance to really see that on the series.

If only the elements were the only things for the Frasers to deal with. There are many problems on their way, including a new family settling on the Ridge. Get ready for trouble with the Christies.

And something the Outlander Season 6 teaser gives us is a look at the bigger problem that will likely run into Season 7 and beyond. It’s all about the Revolutionary War. The war is starting.
