Is Foundation Season 2 happening at Apple TV+?

There are some great TV shows to get us through Droughtlander. For some, Foundation will have been a show you started watching. Sure, it has nothing to do with the Outlander storyline and doesn’t involve anyone from the cast, but it does involve a very special member of the Outlander family.

Bear McCreary does the soundtrack for the series. There’s no doubt you’ll follow his music. He is the man who manages to bring so many different styles and sounds to life, instantly capturing the themes and the feelings of whatever he’s working on.

The series itself is also great for those who love sci-fi. It follows humans who are all scattered across planets around the galaxy. They live under the Galactic Empire’s rule, but the galaxy is starting to collapse. Dr. Hari Seldon and his followers will do whatever it takes to preserve their culture.

Is Foundation Season 2 happening?

The show has only just premiered. We hadn’t expected any news about a renewal for a while, but Apple TV+ is a streamer on top of its game. A lot of renewals have happened early, and now we get updates about this sci-fi series.

Foundation Season 2 is officially happening. TVLine reports the great news, although we don’t get to know too much of what to expect. That’s not surprising since we have no idea how the first season will end just yet.

There’s no date for the release of the second season. With the early renewal, there’s a chance we could see it by the end of 2022, which will give us something for Droughtlander between Outlander Seasons 6 and 7.
